it occurred to me the other day, I find it funny that neither son went against his Dad...that one didn't try to get him by going against him...altho my Dad wanted me to play QB, I was to short hence I played a "devil Back" on D and kicker...later when he was coaching I was a DB/ST asst for him...watching games growing up it was always if we line up like this where do you attack??? where is the weak link in the formation??? what is the weak spot on D??? where do you assist it??? on down and distance what does the O formation tell you??? what do player substitutions tell you???

what made it all great was trying to out fox him, can I beat him??? a competition that was healthy and instructional...it gave us a great relationship...we still sit around watching games and pick it apart, him on O and me on D/ST...

you would think that one of the boys would have gone O instead of D...but maybe Buddy was just to good or harda zz...but can you imagine one of the Ryans being an O guru and the other two defensive watching some game??? alittle off topic I guess but a tribute to Dads nonetheless...
